Kate Mead
Kate Mead
LCCH, BSCT
Kate has been a homeopathic and craniosacral practitioner for over 20 years and for 10 years was the director at the Contemporary College of Homeopathy.
Kate has a great interest in all aspects of women's health, from adolescence to fertility and menopause. She also specialises in treating digestive health and was featured in a Times article relating to her successful treatment of IBS/Crohns. As digestive health is often related to skin, Kate also treats many people with skin issues.
Kate has a varied practice in terms of the conditions she treats and is interested in identifying the reasons our health becomes compromised. Finding and identifying the causes of compromised health is the initial key to healing and is an enlightening and empowering process.
Over the years as well as thoroughly looking into the experience of physical health and symptoms, Kate explores the importance of who we are as individuals, our thoughts, feelings, relationships and past.
With a history of working with people with Autism, Kate also treats many adults and children with ASD and other associated conditions.

Gut feeling for a good remedy
Targeting stress was key to curing a painful bowel complaint, says Emma Mahony. It wasn’t until Melanie Smith sought help from a homoeopath a year ago to treat irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) that she was able to look back on seven years of suffering and see it for what it was: stress-related.
